We had a Continental breakfast with crusty bread with a variety of cheese, sausage and fruit..
There was no hair dryer to be found, and our dual-voltage dryer had an American plug. We only had one UK adapter plug with us, and two phones, two laptops, a Garmin, and a camera that needed charging. Ron rummaged around and found a UK charger for up to four USB devices - so that was a big help. We still had to utilize the one lone adapter plug for the computer (downstairs) and our hairdryer upstairs. There were NO electrical outlets in the bathroom, so we set up in one of the spare bedrooms where there was a chest with a mirror.
As we were busy getting organized in the house, our only outing of the day was to the huge Tesco Extra store nearby. It was much brighter and more organized than the ASDA we had visited previously.
Ron started his spaghetti sauce for Wednesday's dinner.
That evening we went to a nearby pub that the neighbor had recommended, The Birkhill Inn.
They were serving high tea, but we could also order from the menu. We shared a haddock fish and chip, which was pretty good.
