We hardly know where 2016 went, and now another year is racing past. Life-changing events have filled the last three quarters. We sold our home in Georgia, our beautiful RV resort in NC, and just yesterday, the sale on our home in Maine closed. That was a nail-biter. Our short-lived "move" to the Charlotte area didn't work out, and we returned to Braselton and quickly bought a home in a retirement community. We are down-sizing, and hope this will be our "forever" house. We both feel we aren't up to "one more move". We had three shipments of household goods coming. The first small one (from Fort Mill) arrived last weekend, and we actually threw away boxes instead of storing them. The first time we haven't kept boxes in anticipation of the next move! The big delivery from Allied of our Braselton storage arrived Wednesday. The three moving guys were pleasant and helpful, and made the day easier to deal with.  Every room of the house is filled with boxes, and it will all be dealt with when we come back. To recuperate from all the stress and exertion, we need to slow down and gather our thoughts. We need to take a deep breath and contemplate "what's next" in this chapter of our lives. Two weeks crossing the Atlantic seems like the perfect solution. We have booked the "Tradewinds" Cruise on the Celebrity Eclipse, departing from the Port of Miami on Easter Sunday, April 16. We look forward to sitting on the balcony with a glass of Prosecco, watching the skyline of Miami fade into the distance. Tomorrow we sail!
